  • Installation Fee Chat Resolution

    We recently switched to Charter after many years with DirecTV for a better price and new phone. Never had a good experience with Charter before and we were leery about switching. There wasn't supposed to be any installation fee from Charter. We got the first bill and there was an installation fee. I went online to use the chat with an agent feature, which works great by the way. After explaining the situation the rep asked me to hold while he checked with a manager.     6-19-2014 Re: Pamela; Charter Rep. After she took care of me , I was supposed to give a survey rating her but the survey feature did not work. She was fantastic! My big complaint was, we missed an ABC show and wanted to watch it through Charter On Demand. But, it generally offers the HD version only at first. After 2-7 days they sometimes offer it in "Non-HD". Dumb huh? Well, we don't have or want HD so we are blocked from watching even the HD version. Why, I don't know.   • Charter Communications - TV and Internet service.

    Extremely happy with recent call to Chart disconnect department. I called to reduce our services since the increased price after they did away with contract pricing left me cringing with every charter monthly bill. The same service had gone up $40! That was on top of what I thought was already a high price. I got a very friendly employee named James and was happy when he was able to reduce my price by $20 by giving me the DVR for free as their website advertised that special.   • More than expected

    I had made an appointment to transfer service. At time of installation, there was a problem with the tap. It then went to the tech and I was called the next day stating that it had been fixed and they would be there the next day. To make a long story short I had to call (after taking time off work) to find out where they were. There was a lot of confusion, people telling me different things, different dates and it seemed as if they had no clue what they were doing.     I just switched to Charter Communications due to a very compassionate young man named Brian. He came to my door and made me feel as though he was more concerned about my needs than actually making money. I am 62 years old and I have never had a salesman come to me and ask me if he could save me some money. He sat down with me we talked about how much I was paying for my TV, Internet and phone services. He then showed me what he could offer me. He went over every detail and sold me on every item.   • wanting to get service in my area

    iam wanting to get service in my area. iam in estill springs. they service in hillsboro and iam not to far from there but they dont service out here they need to start doing some construction out here there's a lot of houses out that would love to see them out here. the only phone service that is out here is benlomand. and i dont like there service. theres not to many people around here that care for there service but we dont have no choice to have them i say what to do....
